Farmer's Offerings
Oil & Acrylic on Canvas
80 x 60 cm
2024
The second Uncle in the triptych series portrays a perturbed, senior grazier being offered flaccid dandelions, cropped from a dispirited harvest.
A continuation of muted colours, thanks to my protanopic inability to distinguish tones of red, gives this piece a gloomy reminder of the fragility of nature.
The senior Uncle has only two eyes. His dry aged expressions perceive this world for what it is. A brutal and inescapable reality of survival
